If I ever encounter a time machine…

Let’s assume that someday, somewhere in the future, someone finally invent a time machine. And let’s just assume that I am among those who get the chance to give it a try.

What will I do? And where will I go?

Will I go to my future? Maybe – maybe, but since I dislike knowing the future before experiencing it myself, I guess no. I don’t want to be told what my future is, and then spending all the time between, already knowing. What’s the fun in living a life you’ve already known how it goes?

So, will I go to my past? Definitely no – even now I can imagine what I will do if I am able to go back to my past: I will be very busy fixing my past mistakes and because I have a tendency to be a perfectionist, I will be repeating things until I think they’re good enough, but what is “good enough”? Anyway, I’m afraid if I go to my past, I will be spending a lot of time there thus neglecting my present. So, thanks but no, thanks.

Perhaps I will go to the future or to the past, but not my past or my future for sure. I’d rather go to the time either before I was born, or after I die. I think it will be much more interesting. 🙂
